We're kicking things off proper this morning with this incredible remix of Kasbo's latest ' Your Tempo'. Remixed by Tennyson, the new remix explores and highlights all of our favorite elements of the track while adding a fresh spin on the new release.

We love the flutters and the vocal performance and we felt like Tennyson did an incredible job elevating the track rather than delivering something that felt over-produced. The light percussion and the soulful vocal performance are more than enough to fill your heat with joy and we're excited to hear more from the artists soon.

"We got connected with Brendan a few months back through a mutual friend. When we listened to Brendan’s music on Spotify, we heard Sammy Adam, college party type vibes from him. We immediately started having ideas on this track and sent him a demo the next day and he loved it. He sent us vocals back 2 days later and it was an absolute smash. This was a super fun track to make because it perfectly intertwines our Pop/Edm vibe and Brendan’s hip-hop vibe."

Virtual Self announces tour and releases 'Angel Voices'

Today, Virtual Self shares the technic-Angel edit of “Ghost Voices” called “Angel Voices” HERE. After announcing the headline tour last week, the general on-sale tickets for Porter Robinson’s Virtual Self North America Virtual Self Utopia Tour are available today via VirtualSelf.co/UtopiaTour. The tour kicks off with a performance at Electric Zoo on Friday 8.31 in New York and stops in cities from Austin to Vancouver. More Utopia tour dates on the West Coast will be announced shortly.

The Utopia show combines two sets into one — one set each from the two Virtual Self “producers". First, a techno, 2-step and trance segment from Robinson's technic-Angel moniker, followed by a mashing of gabber, jungle, and hardcore from Pathselector. The immersive performance will bring fans into a world of mutated 2001-era warehouse rave complete with custom-built lighting and a stage production that looks unlike anything else in electronic music. People will be quick to notice that Porter's commitment to the aesthetic is just as effortful as his previous live shows, and it’s safe to say that this will be the most unique show of 2018.

"In 2015, scientists detect Gravitational Waves for the first time. My father was one of them. This is the story of 30 years of research, the discovery of a lifetime. I’ve been profoundly moved by the discovery, and Landing is an homage track to my father.

Gravitational waves are ripples in space-time. They are caused by the most violent events in the universe, like the fusion of two black holes. They happen million of light years away, yet are smaller than the size of an atom. It is mind-blowing we were able to detect them. Their Nobel prized discovery will allow us to observe the Universe in a way never before possible.

We had the unique chance to be able to shoot inside Virgo, the European Gravitational Waves observatory, located in Pisa, Italy. Everything we shot is real, I wanted to show this incredible machine that’s huge but very precise at the same time." - Zimmer

Our latest obsession comes from electronic group THAT KIND. Featuring hypnotizing vocal work and deep house elements, THAT KIND delivers a chilling experience with their latest, 'Watching You'. Upon hearing it for the first time, we saw parallels between artists like ZHU but it goes without question that the groups sound is nothing short of amazing and creative. Max Styler brightens up the party with new single 'Feel It'

This may just be our favorite Max Styler release. We particularly enjoyed the vocal style and the structure of the arrangement this time around due to its bouncy and colorful production style. It's simple, its fun, and damn its catchy.  

Combining elements of deep house with warm bass tones, expressive vocoded vocals, creating the perfect house burner for all of your upcoming activities. Styler's career has skyrocketed over the last year and it's awesome to see the artist move away from his typical glitchy future bass sounds of 2017 and embrace something as fresh as 'Feel It'.

This instrumental from Mir is awesome, Here's why:

So it's been awhile since we've covered an instrumental on the site (but its for good reason). For us, its really challenging to dig through hundreds of submissions and find something that creatively speaks volume without some sort of imagery from the vocalist. With instrumentals, its extremely difficult because it has to tell a story in order to keep us interested—but that's exactly what electronic producer Mir did with their new song 'resistance'.

Mir craft-fully and successfully channeled his emotions and relayed that energy in the form of an instrumental that grows on you as you listen along. It's really not as easy as it looks but nonetheless, Mir delivers. We're slightly obsessed with Out There's and Ella Poletti's 'What To Do'

The track was released a couple weeks ago and we're still going hard on the repeat button. Out There's colorful and exciting production stye is enough to keep our attention no matter how many times we click play and that alone is pretty incredible. The wonderful Ella Poletti brought their best work to the table and solidified the hit with her incredible vocal performance.
