DJ Cameo released a brand new deep-house record that features a small splash of Caribbean and Grime influence. We love the production style—paying homage to the old school UKG roots of dance music. This is the first release of a new series and to launch the project, DJ Cameo invited Jazzie Martian to deliver a jazzy yet soulful performance.

“I wanted to kick this project off by paying homage to the old skool era of UK Garage. The first notable track I co-produced was ‘HI Grade’ with J Sweet while working at Uptown Records. With 24 Hours I decided to take it back to the very early days of my career and the sounds that influenced me when I first started my journey.”

Alex Holmes & Cylink share new house tune 'You Got Me Feeling Like'

Alex Holmes and Cylink teamed up to deliver this catchy new house tune titled 'You Got Me Feeling Like'. We love the deep plucks and the beautiful vocal performance... mix in some melodic vocal samples and a punchy house kick and you have a solid dance track to carry you into the night. "Although the backing track was written in January, it took until June to find a vocalist. After 6 months of searching, I met Alex on online music platform Vocalizr. I was very inspired by her music on her profile and so I blatantly sent her a message asking her whether she would be interested to collaborate on a track.

The original intention of the track was to create a late night vibe. The jazzy e-piano runs in verses and frequent use of 7th chords were to create 'walking across the street late at night' picture. The mood of the track changed during the composition and it is interesting how most people hearing it now think the song has tropical summer vibes." - Cylink

Our latest obsession comes from electronic group THAT KIND. Featuring hypnotizing vocal work and deep house elements, THAT KIND delivers a chilling experience with their latest, 'Watching You'. Upon hearing it for the first time, we saw parallels between artists like ZHU but it goes without question that the groups sound is nothing short of amazing and creative. It's almost like a fusion of dark pop and house music. In summary, it's an exciting project and we see a lot of potential for growth and success.

Max Styler brightens up the party with new single 'Feel It'

This may just be our favorite Max Styler release. We particularly enjoyed the vocal style and the structure of the arrangement this time around due to its bouncy and colorful production style. It's simple, its fun, and damn its catchy.  

Combining elements of deep house with warm bass tones, expressive vocoded vocals, creating the perfect house burner for all of your upcoming activities. Styler's career has skyrocketed over the last year and it's awesome to see the artist move away from his typical glitchy future bass sounds of 2017 and embrace something as fresh as 'Feel It'.

Tentendo releases 'Ghost' (feat. Blasko)

This new dance record from Tentendo sounds incredible... if you're a fan of house tracks with a soulful R&B vocal top-line, 'Ghost' will hit the sweet spot. Featuring Blasko on vocals, the two artists deliver a catchy new house tune with dark hypnotic undertones. The sound design and the instrumental production sound great in the mix and provide a really intense experience that may or may not cause one to dance uncontrollably. 

Tentendo says; 'Ghost came about one winter afternoon in my lounge room with Blasko. I just started flicking through some old beats - most of which I hated but this one stuck out as one which might have potential. We re-worked it a bit and the song was done a couple of hours and a short pizza break later. Ghost is about wanting to be seen, wanting to be visible to someone.' 

While this may be Tentendo's second release over the last year, the producer is gearing up to release a string of new music via Majestic Casual and after hearing 'Ghost', I think it's safe to say we're pretty excited to hear what's next. Don't forget to connect with the artist online and enjoy!
