WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY:

It's a beautiful Tuesday morning and to get things started we have this brand new record from Peter Kuli and Still Haze titled 'Potion'. We love this track for several reasons.. the instrumentation is light and minimalistic and doesn't take up all of your attention. The atmosphere of the pads creates a warm energy that we felt was soothing and relaxing and places a clear emphasis on the vocal performance—the vocals add an intimate touch and the lyricism is rich with imagery (pay attention as you listen along).

There's a healthy balance between the instrumentation and the vocal style and that's what makes this record so special—perfect synergy. If you're a fan of dream pop or bedroom pop, you're going to love this. Together, these two artists make some really exciting stuff and we look forward to hearing more from the two in the coming months.

Out now via Majestic Casual, this release marks the second collaborative single between the two artists. Don't forget to connect with them online so you can stay up to date on what's happening next. Enjoy!

WHAT THE ARTIST HAS TO SAY:

''Potion' was conceived as an acoustic idea written with just guitar and vocals. It's a self-reflection with an air of sass. It describes a newly attained mental state of moving forward in a bit of a pragmatic manner. There are references about cutting toxic people out of one's life and getting tired of being burdened by others' complaining and negative energy. It's a lash back at people who are not taking responsibility or holding themselves accountable for problems that they're not taking steps to change.

My songs are always written from a place of almost contradictory duality. So there are lines that purposely play the alternate perspective.' - Still Haze
