The Princess of Gothic Pop Returns with “Siren”

The Princess of Gothic Pop Returns with “Siren”

WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY:

Phoenix-based singer/songwriter Kailee Morgue has released her daunting new tune, Siren, and it does not disappoint.

Following suit of Kailee’s 2017 breakout track, “Medusa“, “Siren” explores aspects of Greek mythology from a refreshing angle. The tune features an instrumental just unsettling enough to put you on edge, while Kailee’s sedating vocals float over top and lure you into the water.

“Siren” arrives hot on the heels of some of our favorite Kailee Morgue tunes; “Do You Feel This Way” (feat. Whethan), “F**k U” and “Medusa”.

Give “Siren” a listen in the links below, and try not to slip into the water.

WHAT THE ARTIST HAS TO SAY:

“‘Siren’ is a song where I get to play the villain (the siren), luring people in with my voice. The Greek mythology references pick up where my first single ‘Medusa’ left off, but this one has a much more sinister tone. The balance between lofty vocals and the sexy, unsettling instrumental mirrors the temptation to do something forbidden or ill-advised.”
